Report Designer Formulas: How to quickly see the parameters required for an Excel formula

It’s often useful to be able to quickly see which parameters a formula contains, particularly when you are creating your financial reports using the Sage Intelligence formulas available in the Report Designer Task Pane.

By using the following shortcut, you will be able to see all the parameters your Sage Intelligence formula contains.

  1. Run out the report designer report from the Sage Intelligence Report Manager.
  2. When the report loads, in Microsoft Excel, begin typing the Excel Formula into a cell.
    For example: =GLActual(
  3. Once you have typed the open bracket, press CTRL+SHIFT+A

This will reveal all the formula parameters as shown below:
