Global warming to mid sized BI

It was as inevitable as melting snow caps and rising tides that the status quo in the BI industry had to change and the effects of the BI melt down from old world to new world has begun to emerge. Small and mid-sized business owners have evolved from passive bystanders to active buyers with increasingly discerning knowledge of what they need and what proper reports can do for their business performance. As the layers of complexity that once weighed on the BI industry in complicated solutions and irrelevant accronyms slowly melt away, so a new era of easy, no nonsense, simple and powerful reporting is emerging to empower end users and create access to information for everybody across small and mid-sized organisations. Perhaps the evolution away from Dinosaurs would be a more appropriate analogy than global warming.
