Sage Intelligence at Sage Summit: What our customers and partners had to say

The 7 member strong Sage Alchemex team just returned from the 2012 Sage Summit conference in Nashville, Tennessee, where we presented over 32 Sage Intelligence related sessions from boot camps, to hands on labs, round tables, training sessions and presentations. Aside from this, Sage Intelligence had one of the premier booths at the Sage corporate booth that boasted a 40 inch display (see the GO Smarter station in the picture below), which allowed demonstrations to groups of 10 and more, and trust me, we did plenty of these during the week.

Apart from all of this focused activity around showing and teaching about the product, the Sage Alchemex team heard overwhelming feedback from partners and customers about how much they had seen added to the product in the last year and how they were really excited about the future of the product following the ‘road ahead’ sessions where the new in-memory add-in grabbed the most attention. Many  attendees stated that there was finally a good reason to move off FRx to the Sage Intelligence solution.

Personally though, the most satisfying part of the week were some of the discussions I had with customers that I met at last year’s Sage Summit in Washington DC, who had come back to learn more. One particular customer that I hosted in a Sage 500 roundtable session, shared with the rest of the group, that he had first been exposed to Sage Intelligence last year and was currently using the solution to automatically send daily sales reports to the sales team, monthly sales report to the sales managers, and financial reports in month to date and year to date format to the executives, all of which he had easily customized. He had also used the product to connect into systems beyond their ERP such as payroll and CRM data, and had been able to integrate all this information into Excel based dashboards. When our solution makes such an impact in the life of a customer, it is incredibly rewarding for us as a team, and hopefully validates that we are doing “good” in what we set out to do on a daily basis.

See you all in Washington DC at Sage Summit 2013!
