Alchemex was founded in November 2001 in Durban, South Africa, with the vision to provide practical solutions for small and medium sized companies around the world to assist them with the common frustrations associated with getting good information out of their ERP/Accounting systems.
Since inception it has always been our goal to partner with leading vendors of Accounting and ERP systems as it made sense for our offerings to be an extension of what was already out there. Customers and partners also seem to prefer to deal with one supplier that is trusted and established in the market place.
Alchemex has been an OEM partner with several Sage Operating Companies around the world since 2005, and now more recently in North America since 2009. We are extremely proud to now officially be part of the Sage Group following Sage’s acquisition of Alchemex effective October 2011.
This year, we will attend Sage Summit in Nashville officially as part of the “Sage family”, and under our new name – Sage Alchemex. We are excited to showcase our enhanced product offerings for Sage Intelligence, and to share and exchange ideas and solutions with all Sage Partners and End Users.

We look forward to expanding our networks using the various platforms at Sage Summit – the Sage Summit Mobile App, Facewall and Sage City in particular. The concept behind Sage City seems very engaging; we hope business intelligence will be one of the hot topics!
The Sage Alchemex team will be based at workstation 624 in the Sage corporate booth. Expect lots of demos, a team to answer any Sage Intelligence related questions, free Tips and Tricks books, and other valuable give aways.
